Dr. Doroteya Ivanova

Dr. Doroteya Ivanova has graduated with honors her Medical degree from Lomonosov Moscow State University. During her studies, she was part of the university’s biophysics and biochemistry laboratories and participated in numerous projects in the fields of space biology and medicine.
After graduation, she began her career as a resident physician in the Radiation Therapy Department at “Tokuda University Hospital”. In 2018, she obtained a specialty in Radiation Oncology and completed a Master’s degree in Health Management.
In 2022, Dr. Ivanova joined the Department of Radiation Oncology and Radiosurgery at “St. Ivan Rilski University Hospital”, and since 2023, she has served as a lecturer at Sofia University “St. Kliment Ohridski.” She has been the course director of a series of courses for RTTs under the auspices of ESTRO and IAEA.
Dr. Ivanova has further developed her professional qualifications through numerous programs, schools, and courses organized by ESTRO, ASTRO, ESMO, and ESO in America, Australia, and various European countries. Dr. Ivanova is the author and co-author of publications in peer-reviewed journals and chapters in academic textbooks.
