OFFICIALLY LICENSED BEST OF ASCO® BULGARIA 2025
Licensed review of ASCO® Annual Meeting
July 18 – 19, 2025
hybrid format symposium
Sofia, Hotel Millennium
Dear Colleagues,
Esteemed Friends,
This year, for the first time, the Bulgarian Joint Cancer Network (BJCN) proudly takes the initiative to officially host a licensed presentation of the Best of the Annual Congress of the American Society of Clinical Oncology (ASCO) 2025 in Bulgaria. Since its inception in 1964, ASCO’s annual meetings have evolved into the most anticipated and globally significant event for researchers and practicing oncologists across all disciplines of oncology.
The Best of ASCO 2025 Bulgaria Symposium aspires to translate and present to a Bulgarian audience the most innovative and paradigm-shifting advancements introduced at ASCO, shaping oncological science, clinical thinking, and decision-making. Moreover, it seeks to bring a touch of the magic of Lake Michigan and the sky-reaching architecture of Chicago to Bulgaria.
“Great trees start as small acorns.” If we were to paraphrase these words by Professor John Laszlo, one of ASCO’s early presidents, we might say for the inaugural Best of ASCO Bulgaria: From mighty oaks fall acorns, from which strong trees grow.
We look forward to welcoming you this July in Sofia for this remarkable event.
Assoc. Prof. Assia Konsoulova, MD, PhD
Chair of the Organizing Committee

About ASCO®
The American Society of Clinical Oncology (ASCO) is a professional organization that unites physicians from all oncology specialties involved in the delivery of cancer care. Founded in 1964, today it has approximately 45,000 members worldwide, engaging them in a mission against cancer through research, education, and standardization of the highest quality care. The ASCO Annual Congress is the largest and most prestigious event in the world, offering the extract of scientific results from basic and clinical oncology, transforming them into global models and algorithms for diagnostic and therapeutic behavior. In addition, ASCO organizes numerous professional seminars, training programs, and special symposia on issues of particular importance to oncologists and researchers. It publishes numerous journals, books, newsletters, online, and multimedia resources, the most prestigious of which is the Journal of Clinical Oncology (JCO). The licensed Best of ASCO program allows oncologists from different parts of the world, who are unable to attend the annual congresses, to review and discuss in their native language over 50 original presentations with the most significant and revolutionary contributions to clinical practice.
